I've got one of those. Great quality. No holes drilled and no attaching it to the windscreen.

Although the wife does complain it's blocking her view of the clock and speedo.

I have a brodit mount for my iPod which clips to the dash just to the left of the gear stick. A picture will follow.

http://www.brodit.com/productinforma...sortiment=null - do you have this one or the other one?
This one would be great for an ipod but is a touch too low for my GPS; so I think I'm going to get the other one.

While I am sure these would be useful if we could actually get our blooming ipods connected to the car apart from over complicated means or crappy fm transmitters......at the moment we can't.

So please...take them away, Honda are getting me depressed over this.

As promised a picture of my Brodit mount and iPod holder. (Sorry for the delay, but I do have to work sometimes!)

As you can see the gear lever is a little close for comfort when in first so you have to keep your fingers out of the way when changing gear, but it is not really a problem.

I'll get a photo of mine on the way home.

It's fine without the item in there; but is in the way of the gearstick a bit when my gps is installed.

Good to hear thats not your car, you've got the wrong head unit if it is your car! Is the difference in the colours no too noticeable when just sitting in the car, or does it come in different shades?

I used the brodit pro clip (http://www.brodit.com/?main=productinformation.jsp&anr=653733) and Mount (http://www.brodit.com/?main=productinformation.jsp&anr=215027) with tilt swivel for my TT 700 and it works beautifully.

I personally think its better than window mounting because it doesn't leave ring marks on the screen (inviting thieves) and the way I’ve done it I can remove the mount easily (even without the gap opener) without damage to the dash and put in glove box so it's again not inviting to thieves.

I did turn the mount upside down though to give more room so it didn't get in the way of the gear stick

Doing it this way minimizes wires all over the place too, especially as I have the external aerial thingy too, only because my previous car was bad at picking up a signal, i just slap it in the glove box and get 100% signal all the time

and the little flap still opens nicely and there is no reflection on screen in the day
