Radio Broken Tuning Knob

I have a broken tuning knob for the standard issue radio in a 1.8 SE. I am trying to source a replacement part but Newton Honda in South Croydon want to charge me £35! This is very annoying as it was broken when I bought my civic 10 months ago.

Anyone got any suggestions where I can buy this part any cheaper.

You will find that it's not the dealers but the standard Honda price.

Just to even things up, I asked for a quote for replacing the 4 plastic centre console bolt covers.
The ones you need to gently prise off before undoing the bolts to lift off the centre console.

Is everyone sitting down - they are £8.50 each !

You could try a breakers yard. Try Phoning them and see :

Perhaps it can be done with a drop of glue? Otherwise probably the cheapest way to get one would be directly from the manufacturer, I guess in this case it's Panasonic
