Portable DAB units and amp cabling
Hi,
Should be picking up my Type-R in a few days and cant wait. I've already ordered my connects2 unit for my Aux audio in and was wondering whether it would work with a portable DAB radio. I was wondering whether anybody could recommend a model to me; ideally it should be dash mountable or stowable and have compatibility for an in-car cigarette charger. On another note; my old car has a sub and amp installed which i'll be keeping after the part exchange. The kit isn't very good and i'll prob upgrade it shortly. I was thinking about installing the amp cabling whilst i had access to the head unit when installing the connects2, but not connecting an amp to the other end of the cable. Would this be alright, or should the cable be terminating somewhere?? Thanks guys |
