Did you ever get a reply? I emailed them twice and never got an answer. Now that the FM transmitters are legal I am considering buying one of those. |

Why don't you go the Dension route??? That's only just over 90 quid, and has been proven on here to work a treat, and is neat and tidy.....
Seems a doddle to fit yourself too. |

Not quite a doddle.....as it involves removing half the dash!!! But yes, it does seem the dension is the best option on cost. And with more functionality than the official ripoff Honda one.

I read your guide.....and I am afraid to a clumsy bloke with a short temper I would end up with a half destroyed dash and the bloody thing would still not work!!!
However I was tempted by your offer of free fitting...in fact I think I would rather spend £30 on petrol getting to Sussex than pay for someone at Halfords etc to do it!!! |

I know it's from the US and it's in the Hybrid, but this video should give you a flavor of the Music Link...
PS You don't get the text to speech software in the UK. Last edited by Bog; 16th May 2007 at 15:53. |

The UK music link doesn't - AFAIK - offer full integrated iPod control. If it does, I'd like to know how, but can't see anything in the manual.
The US version (discontinued, last I heard) uses some terrible Text To Speech method of alphabetically going through Playlists and Artists, so offers more control than the UK version. However, I've not read a good review on the unit. The UK version lets you select 1 of 7 playlists, play tracks randomly. Alternatively, it continues to play whatever you were playing when you connected the iPod to the Honda. I downloaded the TTS software, but it didn't seem to do anything with the UK audio unit. |
