Exactly!! I am sure I would not have had my bumpers replaced if I had not mentioned this site and the fact that other customers were having theirs replaced as I was told that no one else had a problem with their lights rubbing off the paintwork!

I find it unbelievable that Honda should say there are no radio problems

Honda's Customer service have informed me that it in certain area's the radio will not work. They will not be doing anything about it as it is a characteri'stic of the vehicle.

But Geoff I have said before, any characteristic of any item purchased must be pointed out at the time of a sale otherwise the Sale of Goods Act has been broken.

Back in April

Thanks T C
Back in April I don't think the dealers were aware of the radio problem and without Civinfo they would still be telling me no body else has this problem.

So as much as I agree with you I cannot see what I can do they cannot fix the radio at this moment.
I really enjoy driving my civic and if they said do you want your money back i wouldn't know what to buy instead.

Mihael,
Regarding your RDS query, I don't believe the RDS box should go black. Rather it is a label for those things to the right of it, TA, TP, News etc., all of which are RDS features which will go black when selected on the RDS features screen. I know it looks like it should, but I think not. If you look, there are other menu items with a similar appearance.
Regards, pcr.

have you a picture

Paulus
Have you got or seen a picture of the car with the aerial on
As mine is going in to have the roof linning etc removed to redo a weld.
So if there is a aerial available now is the time for me to ask for it

I first saw it in the dealers showroom, but there is also a picture on the Honda website. It's on the roof just above the rear windscreen

I don't know what is on the website, but I'm fairly sure the car in the showroom was the latest one.

On the other hand maybe I'm wrong, I can't find anything about it on the net. I did read an announcement in Autoexpress so when I saw the R type in the showroom I assumed it was the new one.

thanks paulus
as you can see topcat and I have the same problem going back to the early days of this website
This website has been so useful for information can you think back to the days before Civinfo how hard it would be to get a dealer to admit that you are not the only one with a problem

Thanks once again for this website and everybody for there contributions
