You should not reverse on you mirrors if you have a good view around. You will fail a driving test for using your mirrors reversing. Simple.

Beleive it or not, you do not have a good enough view with mirrors, and it's not parked cars you need to be careful of. How about small children walking behind your car? A quick glance before you move will not help!

BAck on topic. I am wishing I had en EX now, just so I can hear it tell me what music I am listening too. It is a bit of a gimmik, but I want it!

So, are we saying its just an EX thing?
Still not sure its the confirmation thingy cos I have that turned off and did change the climate control a couple of times on the way to work with out voices, but changing from Thunder to The Quireboys on the cd prompted it to say so, and without complaining about my musical taste, so much better than the wife being there!!!!!!

You are not alone, my wife also complains when I put Ozzy or WASP etc on the CD. Can't comment on the voices though as I am still waiting for my EX to be delivered.

I don't even dare put my CDs in the player when the missus is in the car with me.

No sounds from my sport as of yet. More tinkering about to do I suppose, as soon as I get her back!

They should not be in the road, and especially not crossing near parked cars, Tufty would turn in his squirrel grave if he found out.

Take your point though, I often rely to heavily on my mirrors for reversing.

The UK driving test? likely yes, here it's the other way around. Doesn't make sense much sense.

Are you allowed to keep looking back while parking in UK? quick glance is max here.
Do you have to redo your theoretic exam for each different category you drive over there to?

scooter/car/motorcycle/lorry/bus/humongous 'exceptional convoy' beasts are 6 different theoretic exams here, yet roadsigns from car & up are all the same. rip*cough*off

And the children thingie... you should've seen and passed them before you started parking, unless they walk 50 km/h

Also my future kids will get slapped if they do something that stupid o_O

This is getting off topic now, sorry for that.
The UK test is supposed to be one of the most strict driving test in the world. With regards to driving, they say you should always be looking mostly in the direction of travel, that's the only way to see safely what is happening in the direction you are driving. This has to be the way I teach learner drivers. I admit to relying a little too much on my mirrors reversing occasionally

With theory tests, there is a basic test for car drivers, one for motorcysles, one for HGVs, and one for PCVs. Each test is different and relevant to the class of vehicle.

As far as reading track details out, is it confirmed as an EX feature?

yer nice trick just wish it give you 2-3 seconds to chose what you doing, sometimes it wont shut up if u know what u doing i,e setting the sat nav manualy.
Quick question why cant it say more than 15 letters and when in the ex you get plenty of space for 30+ , it annoying when you got say a 20 letter title and it says only first 15 letter and wont even display the rest of the title on the bottom screen

also why doesn't it follow the track list when the system plays a diffent folder or after the 3rd track i know the blue box highlight whats playing but after track 3 its gone out of sight ? even worse when the traffic report finshes and it goes back to mp3 it tell you which folder it started on ,not what folder you was in ????
Sorry rant over but this annoyes me
