I have just attempted to fit the ice-link plus in my 1.8 ES and was disappointed to find that it did not work.
I contacted the nice chap at Gordon Harwood and, having spoken with Dension, he informed me that they now do a hybrid type A and B unit labelled type A and it "should" work. He then went on to say that they were finding more and more Honda units were not working with the new civic So, if you thinking of getting a Dension ice-link it may be pot luck as to whether it will work with your head unit. GHC are good enough to give me a full refund as the unit does not work with my radio The real kick in the teeth is that the large piece of trim that surrounds the gear stick and tunnel got broken when a stray cat sent me flying in the garage That will be £196 to Mr Honda then and no ipod for my civic |

That's really unfortunate. I was definitely considering the IceLink, hopefully Dension will get it sorted soon.
And we're still no further on if the Connects2 adaptor will work with our vehicles or not, I am considering purchasing this VERY soon though. |

Apparently Dension now produce a hybrid of type A and B and label it type A. So no more type B. I have no reason to doubt what GHC told me as they are giving me a full refund. |

Oh, I see.....sorry mate, I misunderstood you there.....
If anyone still wants an original 'Type B' version, I'm sure that the company here will still have plenty of back stock.......let me know.... |
