Existing DICE iPod + Parrot CK3000 OR just Parrot MKi9000
I have the Dice iPod integration kit in my car, it works well (most of the time) and my install is nice n tidy (I've trailed the (imo far too thick) lead through the hole in the arm-rest box) and I need a bt kit.
I originally wanted the Honda one as - even though it's expensive - I was under the impression that it used the existing displays for calls/phonebooks etc. I was set straight, what a disappointment. So I've decided on a discrete solution, something like the Parrot ones, as they seem to be pretty highly rated on this board, but could I replace the Dice iPod box (the silverline r3 one) with the MKi9000/9100 and still retain the functionality that I've currently got with the Dice box? Does it go in to the changer iso block in the head unit enabling control of the ipod/iphone from the steering wheel? failing that, I'll go for the CK3000 as it seems to be the mki minus the ipod capabilities. |
