Show Me Your Phone Holders

Right then, just picked my Type S up this week, and off down to Wales on holiday for the week next week, but i need a phone holder so i can use my phone as my Satnav, now on my old car i had a holder that fitted into the CD slot, unfortunately it doesn't fit into the Civic CD slot, so need something else (in a hurry)

So, show me what you've got, and ideally a link to where you got it from

I'm ideally after something subtle, not a window sucker, and the Civic dash looks like it hold lots of potential for various types of phone holders

A CD Slot Mount

Ref; Farqui's FK3 Mod's

I have 2 spare here now that don't fit either of our current cars very well.

The 8th gen dash angle and CD height was great for it tho, our phones never moved and were stable in use.

Hi mate,

I have the Breffo in mine.
Don't have to just use it in the car and I liked how I could shape it to fit in my Merc too.

Does this fit onto the little flat section of the dash above the stereo then?

So I just hooked the legs into the air-vents and two other legs to lean against the flat section.
I also have a Kenu Airframe+ on the other side of the vents but the angle makes it reflect the light.

Tried several and found brodit worked best.

Tried kenu airframe copy after reading about it on here. Hate it and found it pretty useless as had to just both hands to put phone in and out. Its in glovebox now.

If you was local id give it you free to try

i swear by the decent magnetic ones. Scosche magicmounts specifically. Scosche have strong magnets and slighly rubbery to stop any long-term slip.
i have 2 of the 'surface' mounts in my civic for non-phone/tablet use. The other half has the 'original' mount and loves it. all 3 mounts use 3M sticky pads rather than suction.

since it has a magnetic plate that sticks to your phone, then typically NFC continues to work if the plate is not covering it up (our HTC's have NFC around the camera; plate is along bottom of phone). Wireless charging apparently does not work as the plate interfers (we dont use it).
