Subwoofer the new ctr radio

hi guys

does anyone know if you can connect an amp/sub to the standard head unit in the new civic?

also been looking for a new fascia so i can have my own head unit in there (with a few features i didnt want to get as upgrades such as ipod connector and bluetooth)

No companies so far have found a fascia for the car - anyone seen one?!

I went to an audio specialist yesterday and he told me that my ctr does not have a pre-out on the back of the stereo and if I wanted to fit a Pioneer TS-WX22Abass box I would need to buy some kind of connector box which would cost £20 for the cheap box or £500(lol) for the professional box. Is this true as I can't see any mention of this in any of these posts?

Yes, all true.

have a look at post 5, and click on the "device" link. Alpine are about to release one too, PXE-H650. The cheap ones are just a handful of resistors, but work OK.
