right then, got the car to bits no problem. found the amplifier (behind the radio). good. turning the gain is difficult but but I managed to turn it about 5 times.
It's got loads loader - truly ear bashing.
at last.
too dark now to put the car back together, but that's tomorrow's job.
quite easy really, although I'd hate to take the whole amplifier out.

Bit weird.. assumed it was a 0-10 scale rather than something you repeatedly turn..

You getting any reverb??

no, it's working great. just louder.

there's very little on the internet about settings on the "honda bass works" amplifier. I'd write a how-to but it's basically "turn the two screws anti-clockwise".

while I had it to bits, I installed a phone charger as well, piece of cake and neater than having something stuck in the cig lighter.
