MP3 Disks and Vista

Hello

Has anyone managed to burn a MP3 CD in Vista yet and get it to play in the Civic?

Seems to work on my XP machine but Vista disks just flash DISC

I did one via Media Player & that worked ok except it made the folder structure too deep resulting in a long load time.

Although not tried it on an mp3 disk via explorer, make sure you select Mastered instead of Live File System. That will ensure it plays on any cd drive... or should do anyway.

I'm writing MP3 CD-s under Vista, and all of them worked fine until now. I'm using Nero however. The integrated CD writer had lots of problems even under XP, especially with CD-RWs, so I suggest to try out another program.

To avoid a huge folder structure under Media Player 11 in Vista, go to the options under burn and disable the ''Use media info to arrange files in folders on the disc" option.

I would also suggest Nero, not had any problems with it.

XP and Vista seem to have an odd way of dealing with burning.
