Display track titles on CD

Is there a way to display the track titles on a MP3 CD when it is playing?

Obviously the track data is "known" to the CD player as it appears when it being found.

However it would be nice to see the track title rather than "Folder 002 -05" when it is playing.

Hi there Spile,
On the radio at the top left there is a DISP button, if you press that you get different options Artist,Album,Track etc...
Forgot to mention this is for a models without SatNav, it may be different on those!

The satnav models display track info in the top half of the screen & CD track listing below but it displays this as filename rather than track name. Don't want to have to rename all my mp3 files with track title first so any way to get track title displayed instead?

I ripped my MP3's with WMP11 then burnt them with Nero7

I'm sure I get the Track Name & Artist displayed correctly and not the Filename.

In the lower track listing window it would be nice to have it follow the CD as it plays instead of just the first half dozen tracks on the CD.

Wouldn't it be good eh? Doesn't even display current mp3 folder once it has advanced to the next folder in order. grrrrr...

Yes, noticed that as well.

There are a few tweaks that they could make to a few areas that would be the icing on the cake.

I make my MP3 Cd'S through Windows Explorer, it automatically downloads the track and album details from the internet and you can also name the folders. So when I put it into the car it has all the information on screen. Itunes also lets you do this.

Windows Explorer or Media Player?

I have burned CDs via both & either way the mp3 CD screen of my EX shows filenames for the CD listing but track titles in the top half of the display.

You need WMP to compile the albums and track names etc then WE to build them altogether.

I thought it was only WMP that automatically gets the track details and album art ?

That's what I use, and it doesn't always get it right and I have to intervene. Also more often than not I need to scan the CD cover and paste it in. That'll teach me to have too much old stuff.

It's always served me well, I prefer using itunes but it doesn't let you build layered folders which is irritating.

Thanks for that tip JoeF, I missed that "Disp" button. It looks like it part of the CD facia!
For the record, I use ITunes to burn the tracks I want from a playlist onto multiple CD-RWs.
