Kensignton RDS FM transmitter

Just got hold of one of these, much better than the Itrip I had years back. Sound quality is probably better than some of the others on the market, but you can still hear its transmitted rather than line in.

The RDS function is neat, the display scrolls the name of the track and the artist, although there is a slight delay.

For 40 quid its a little bit more expensive than some others on the market but i think its worth it.

This is what I use, works well with my G/F Ipod nano, but not so well with my (old) 3rd gen Ipod.
The sound quality is good (not excellent, but then I would say the Honda head unit is the main problem there) and the RDS function works well.

Lets me keep my Ipod in the cup-holder next to the handbrake.

Two problems, 1, obviously the controls are only via the Ipod, not the head-unit.
2, It takes up the lighter socket, which i plug my GPS into.

The only way to get round both of these is to get the official honda cable, but as has been mentioned it is overpriced and not that much more functional!
