Yes, they do fit on standard speakers (actually it does not matter whether it is standard or upgraded one, speaker rings are fitted on a door trim, not on a speaker).

In case it matters to you though - the speaker rings do say "BassWorks" on them.

They only have Bassworks on them if you get them as part of the baseworks kit. If ou order them on their own, they will be plain.

Do these speaker rings replace a black speaker ring already there for grey speaker rings? If so do you think it would be possible to spray the existing speaker rings and save some cash?

I did not like the silver speaker rings,as theres no other silver inside the car, so i have sprayed them cosmic grey pearl.

I always found that the silver speaker rings in my old car seemed to attract black marks and I really couldn't be bothered paying to get a cheap bit of plastic which looked a bit odd (with graphite trim) added to this car

I presume the £40 is for a pair only, not a set of 4?

I would like to say what I think of charging that kind of money for bits of plastic that cost pence to produce. Unfortunatly, the forum rules regarding bad language prevent me from commenting on this.

I think the price (£40) is for the full set of four. With a little luck one can pick them up a little cheaper - depends on the dealer. Shop around, a dealer can always post them onto you. I would have thought postage was neglible.

I might have a go at spraying them too.
Do they just pull off??
Are the upgrades aluminium paint or something else?
