Ipod link info
hello. ive read here about all the problems with the i pod link with having to have 7 playlists etc.etc.
but aswell as these 7 playlists can u select the tracks to play by hand using the ipod itself then just play it through the car speakers. instead of having control with the steering wheel or is this not an option Thanks |

Others here have mentioned it is possible to manually control an iPod whilst connected via the Honda link.
However, no one has posted the specific details. I've certainly not been able to enter 'setup mode', whatever it may be. |

no got to agree cant access ipod manually once connected to car .What i did was make a small list to keep in the car of all 7 playlists honda1-7 so you can go straight to a specific song or album with ease. Also disc 8 plays the whole ipod in random or you can select any of the playlists {honda1-7} and play them random as well, i get on with mine fine despite the complaints about the system, would rather be looking at it than looking for it .

well after doing a count in windows i have, 8236 songs in my mp3 folder. goodness know how many albums that is, so not being able to select albums and artists etc. is a waste of time to me. its fine having playlists if u like listening to random songs or just a few albums but i like to swap and change to often. burning discs isnt a problem but its time consuming. seems to be alot of room in the centre console though so maybe i can manage. i best start burning discs( a month before i get my civic
