Dashboard query

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but it is loosely relevant to the radio. We picked up our lovely spaceship 2 weeks ago and loving it. However, I did notice there is a step in the dash that I don't think should be there! Let me explain:

Where the CD player and controls are, moving Right to the passenger side (UK model) there is a vertical seem between the facia around the CD slot and the facia over the glove box. The Facia over the CD player is sitting about 2mm proud of the Facia over the golve box.

Is this normal, or should I take it back to the dealer. I wondered if previous owner had taken CD player out and not put facia back properly.

Cheers in advance,

Dave

Here is the picture

I hope it is clear enough. Dash fits nicely top and bottom, it is just in the middle here.

I wouldn't go thumping there too hard incase the airbag gets triggered.

If you do though then setup a video camera and you could get £250 from You've Been Framed

Passenger airbag will only go off if belt is fastened.

Right, perhaps I could use the seatbelt to fasten the camera in place Fantastic idea Kremmen, at least it would be a bit different to all the other stuff that's on there!!!

BTW - How much to get the airbag reset?

Probably more than the £250 that you get from YBF
