Scrolling ID3 tags!!! help please!!!

Hi guys,

me again,

just got around to playing a mp3 cd in my new r-gt, just wondered, although i can see beggining of track title e.g boheimian rhaps..... it cuts off the last bit and I have to press display to see the rest,

Is there anyway of having a scrolling title to see the lot?

I thought the same when I had a 1.8ES. If there is a way of scrolling the titles, I never found it! I think Honda should talk to users and ICE experts to see if that, and a number of other niggles [see various other wish lists on this site], could be addressed in the next upgrade.

Mine displays song title and album but not the artist (which is very annoying for my pilot who has 10 mp3 cds of misc music - over 1000 tracks!) Has any other pilot found a method to change the tags shown on my screen?
Thanks to those who recommended mp3Gain and mp3 tag tool freeware programmes - my pilot has found them very useful and easy to use (after initial learn by doing errors!!)

Make sure you have the artist name set in your tags. Then it should just be a case of hitting disp until you see "TAG ARTIST".

ID3 tags cannot be scrolled, the rest of the artist/track can be viewed by holding down the disp button

Thanks for the help - however when my pilot presses the DISP button he only gets the time the present track has played or the track number. What is he doing wrong (the artist is definately tagged to the mp3 tracks)

As written in user manual first you can display 11 character, then when you press DISP for 3 second you can see 10 more character.

I don't know if we can to obtain scroling... maybe with a coming firmware upgrade.

Not on the EX with satnav as far as I understand it.
Then all the mp3 tags are displayed on the main colour screen and only show what they show.
(If anyone can prove me wrong on this I would be happy!)
