Poor Radio Signal on Pioneer AVICF9030BT. Help please...
Ive recently installed my Pioneer AVICF9030BT headunit. Its been in for a while now but ive only just go round to asking the questions as ive been using my Ipod all this time. The radio signal is very weak often misses out stations when i am searching and i have never been able to pick up Galaxy FM. I know a few of you have this system and wondered if you could answer my questions. A few people have said 'fit the wire to the power attenna on the head unit loom. The one from the aerial adaptor' or 'connect the wire that powers the cars own amplifer.'
Ive had my dash apart again today and cant see anything i need to do so ive taken a few pics if its any help to anyone.  So my aerial is plugged into the back...  And the 2 black connections are made and tightened together...  Can anyone see what i need to do? And what is this for?  Appreciate any help guys

Have you connected the original honda ariel to the ariel adaptor ? The ariel adaptor wire to the power antenna ?
Might want to enlarge your pictures too a bit too small ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the Honda ariel is grey plastic end ? This has got to be connected to the ariel adaptor have a look in all your wires at the back of the loom on the Honda one as the ariel wire is only short it might of dropped down the back ? Have you any other power antenna or power ariel leads on your head unit loom ?
