Is Warranty Invalidated by fitting aftermarket Sound System in a new Civic?
Asked this question elsewhere, but need to know.
If warranty IS invalidated, i'll have to go with Bassworks. Haggling with dealerships at the moment on a new type S GT 1.8 ishift. Will buy at best price shortly... |

If the fitting of the part or modification directly or indirectly causes something else to fail, then that failure is not covered.
So, fitting speakers will not affect the warranty on the engine. But fitting a rear amp and wiring it into the rear demister (which subsequently fries itself) will not allow a claim for a new demister. |
