Gain and Frequency
I have another Vibe Blackair V12 subwoofer (active). I have a dial for gain and frequency but I do not know what these should be set at. I recal when I had the original one, on the headunit there was a 'High Pass Filter' set to 80hz or mhz.
Do I have to match the frequency to that, what is the gain for though and how should I set it?

The freq will limit how high a freq will pass through to the sub. The gain is how much it will amplify then freq. I have the same sub. Only i pulled mine apart but ill take a photo tomorow of how i have mine set. Its down to personal prefrence realy but it may give you a good platform to work off.
I tend to put on a track i like and turn the vol up to about 25 and work off that
