illegalhunter: does the bass unit require to be amped? Are you getting an amp?
Is it always better to get same brand equipment or mix and match? How about the drain on the car battery? If youre parked and listening to music for instance? |

Look forward to seeing how you get on with the installation / sound quality. Where are you thinking of mounting the Sub ?
I was also considering a small sub with a built in amp. There is a thread on this where someone fitted a small alpine sub under the glove box. |

Infinity Reference speakers have two-ohm voice coils. This unique approach extracts more power from your amp or head unit. Many factory OE systems include two-ohm speakers. Infinity Reference speakers are perfect for those applications. If your head unit or amplifier is rated to drive a four-ohm load, Infinity Reference speakers are still the best option.
does anyone knoe if this is the case for the head unit for the ctr? |
