Ok what are the disadvantages of buying direct from US

ie found this on ebay

Would you do it for a large enough cash saving or would u just pay the extra and buy it local?

Has anyone done this and wants to reccomend any good US based dealers?

Warranty or any other problems.

I expect you need to pay UK VAT when you import it.
