... does anyone have a photo of the back of their standard (ie S, SE, Sport, ES) Head Unit?

A Honda Civic Type-R sticker will go straight in the post to anyone who can oblige.

(there is one pic on here, but that's of the EX version... and until Roger Harris is back off his holidays, we dont know if there's a loom connected to it)

Are the EX and the standard HU's completely different? I was under the impression that they were the same HU with either different s/w or it just detects if the satnav is there.

To get to the back of the HU means pulling out all of the dash doesn't it?

There is a reasonable sized hole above the storage box flap that sits in front of the gearstick/below the headunit. If you can get the flap off it would be very easy to attach/swap a cable without dismantling the dash. (No good for a photo though!)

Anybody have any ideas how to remove the flap? Can it be prised out?
