Headunit facia????

Hey all

Been searching for days now and havent been able to find ONE place selling facia moulds for the new civic....I really love my music and have my Ipod in via an iTrip but the quality is prett jip!!

I realise that this will be a pretty big facia, including the air vents and emergency lights button...But i find it very hard to believe that these arent avalible commerically!

If anyone can provide me with information as to where i can source a facia to install my new headunit that'd be brilliant!

Hopt u are all enjoying your rocket ships...i know i am!

It's so integrated to many functions in the car, I doubt many people will want to remove it. How about new speakers, and a new amp (like others are doing)?

I don't, I'm afraid. I think the 1.4S comes with no radio, so I assume that this may be the part fitted to that car. Can a dealer look on the parts system for a 1.4S and see if this thing exists?

It can be changed to 1.8 sport without navigation, I saw it in EMMA's Eurofinals this year in Bern. The competitor was from Switherland and I talked to him, but I did not get partnumber or anything like that. He had the OEM HU in the glove box and some other mod's in hi's car. I'm trying to get contact with him and when I have more info, I'll post it to here!

And here are the part numbers: (If you try to order these to sport, system will not allow it in Finland, because they are not an option in Finland, at least...

Nice work!

Been a few weeks since i was last on and i am liking the look of this!
The scary thing is that my local dealer knew absolutly nothing about this part when i bought my car a couple of months ago.

How much was the replacement facia?

In Finland it was appr. 150€. Not cheap, I think.

I asked this in Electronics and no answers, yet...
I'm having the problems and it seems to be so, that the OEM headunit will stay in the car, but in the different position, like in the glove box. I don't have the time to do it in the next weekend or after that, maybe after the christmas. But I'll do it, the OEM headunit has a s.....y sound quality. I'm also going to do web pages about this high quality car audio install and I'll post a linki to here, when it has some pictures on it.

The OEM headunit in the glove box ,what about the cables, there not long enough...
My local dealer is looking tommorow in the electric manual from a 1.4S because there it works
I hope there is something to connect (connectors from a 1.4S) to the OEM headunit and so too the Pioneer...
