Unfortunately for now, there is no electronic box replacement... i hope, that will be possible in the near future... the only alternative is to put the oem-radio in the handglovebox/Glove compartment (sorry for my english
I want also a built-in 2-DIN-navi in my civic... Last edited by MyVote; 10th November 2007 at 02:44. |

You need to keep the original HU somewhere, for example in the glovebox:
Headunit facia???? |

i have an idea.
the type-r race don't have the radio... its an optional. at the place of radio there is a facia without nothing... (see the depliant of the type.r) i believe that behind this facia there is an electronic that substitute original radio. of course is a small electronic board that bypass the cables. i believe also that this part is a spare part of honda. can you ask to your vendor if is possible have it? it resolve the problem that we have |

One member here posted a thread about an ICE install in such a car: Stereo, custom made for FN2 trunk No pics of the HU solution, but it may be worth asking. |

The non-GT in Sweden have also no clima-controlling
The idea behind Type-R is to let all the nice comfort-things out of the car, just the contrary of my car which rammed full of that things |
