19" RAGE WHEELSET - 1700 miles old!

Hi all.

I bought my Type-R only a few weeks back and have decided I'd rather run 18s now.

So I am selling a full set of Rages with Yoko Advan Sports that have covered 1700 miles from new. All the wheels are as new, but ONE has a 4cm long "touch mark" (i don't want to say kerbing as it's barely visible, I will post a pic later.....it's not even gone all the way through the lacquer I don't think).

£1000.- for the lot. Thanks.

£1000 is alot of money for damaged rages as they cost a fortune to repair

go on be a unique devil and get white rages if i had payed all that money for a C.W ctr i would only put white rages on it as standard rages look shocking bad on a C.W. ctr

The mark on that rage is quite common on rages even when they are brand new. When I bought my rages from Honda I had to get 2 replaced as they came with identicle marks as this one. I am quite sure the damage if you want to call it that has been done when the tyre has been fitted and it is only the laquer that has been damaged. An easy fix IMO.

Last i heard cost a fortune to sort laqure or not and White Rages well A FORTUNE MORE i havent seen a CW yet with them and TBH looks awful

I wouldnt put Rages on my CW princess they for a mate with a NHB he asked if i could keep eye open for £700 mark i laughed but said would try for him

Rages dont suit CW but look amazing on others colours bet look great on new Blue

i'm sure the one with the mark can be smart repaired on just that bit. they're almost £2000 a set from Honda now, the tyres are brand new and they alone are roughly £800 for 4. I will welcome offers, the worst i will do is say no. If anyone is local, you are welcome to inspect the damage it's VERY light and barely visible.

The lowest I will go is £900 collected. Like I said, they've only done 1,700 miles. If I can;t sell them for that amount, I'll just keep them and run them myself. Let me know.

Not to trash your thread buddy, but if you're seriosuly looking to shift these, you'd have to consider pitching them at a slightily lower price than 9 bills. I can't speak for all, but generalising nonetheless, I can say that the demand for these ain't how it used to be. This section used to be packed with Rage requests, and the dealers sections on the site too.. but the requests have subsided as of late.

Good Luck with the sale all the same.

Thank you for the input, but they're brand new aside from the one small mark and I don't HAVE to sell them. I think they are worth £900 with those tyres on. A new set of 19" tyres is about that alone. I'm happy to wait until I get the price I want and if not I'll just keep them and run them myself.

Yeah understood matey - if you're in no rush to shift 'em, and you believe you can get that price then hold out...

Thanks for the reply carnivorous, i'll have to think about that, as it will probably be about a 400mile round trip for me to come and get them. So the very lowest your willing to sell them for is £900. Ill pay cash if your willing to go any lower? I will 100% offer you now £800.00 and will come and collect this weekend. I will even leave you a deposit on Paypal if you require?I think thats pretty fair considering the journey i will make, but its indefinatley upto you mate. I willl keep an eye on this thread and see what you say.

Ok scratch that. I've just seen a place doing the wheels I want for just over £800.00. So if you wanna give me £800.00 cash and collect the Rages that's fine with me. Let me know.

Funny how fast I caved when I saw some wheels I really liked.
