15" Apple Macbook Pro
Hi everyone, I am selling my macbook pro due to the fact I never use it I am always on my iPad and I have a desktop mac as well so its redundant and I feel that its wasted.
Spec is as follows. Standard: 15" Model MacBookPro6,2 i5 1st gen 2.53ghz 8gb 1067 Mhz DDR ram NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256mb 15" Screen Hi Res Glossy 1680x1050 Solid State Hard Drive 256GB OCZ Vertex 2E OSX Lion Software and extras 2years left apple care warranty transfer able Apple Remote Orginal packaging and documentation iWork 09 Moshi Adapter Display port to HDMI Notes: Solid State Hard Drive 256GB OCZ Vertex 2E - this makes the machine ultra quick boot up time is about 12 seconds from on to useable all applications load instantly. This drive cost me £430 and it was worth every penny and its barely used as I store everything on my time capsule. the original drive will be included in the sale. Condition: Perfect as new has been kept clean and it never leaves the house. This would make a great laptop for anyone really. I paid close to £2400 for the this laptop, without the extras. I would like £1500, but I will pay shipping and wrap it so much bubble wrap it will bounce. If close enough I will deliver Corsa VXR delivery style. Any questions please feel free to ask me. Photos: Yes I know there is a Tesco badge! ![]() ![]() I have read the trading rules and will follow them to the letter |

Ahh how much do you think its worth? I wasnt to sure what I could sell it for I just went for a price that I felt was right.
The new basic one doesn't include the spec of mine though as it lacks the hi res screen, the extra 4gb of ram, apple care and it doesn't have an SSD basic one is £1549 with my spec its £2548 Thats Direct from apple with 8gb Ram Hi res screen and SSD 256gb with apple care. so mine is £1048 Less. I would take a sensible price for it. Regards Glen |

Macs hold there value very well tbh, over a lifetime however straight from new they drop a lot, I'd be willing to have a look at it if it were 1.3 mark

I would say around the £1300 mark as the OP was asking for a rough price. 4gb to 8gb ram upgrade sadly you were stung in the bum via apple. I always upgrade the Ram via the apple website as I like it to arrive as one package but a lot of people I know have upgraded their ram to 8 for as little as £35.
Not sure if its the thunderbolt model in the description it doesnt list quad-core which IIRC is when the thunderbolt system was added. Although you havent used it much a lot of people like to see the state of the battery on macs. You can do this by going into the about this mac option and then go into battery and take a photo of battery information. They are a great piece of kit I would say £1300 is a fair price with the spec. ***** |

Haha Syx, Actually I'm in express so 2447
Okay £1300 sounds fair given its age and spec. I have had the system for just over a year now. Istat pro lists this as my battery spec I couldn't find the battery thing you mentioned but if you point me to it more directly I'll gladly put the info up iStat info: Cycles: 244 Health 92% The system does just sit here its wasted to be fair I have an iPad 3 and a 27"Mac so the macbook pro isn't needed at all. I hope that answers all, Thanks and all the best Glen |
