The Service package stays with the Car, you should have pre-paid stamps in the Service Book already quoting that it is paid for.

Does this meean you can get it serviced at any dealer once you've paid? I work away a lot and often can't get to the dealer near home.

If I buy, say a 6 month old civic - can I take the package out or is it too late?

You can purchase it up to 8 months after the vehicle was first registered

I definitely dont, so what's the score there? I will have to check with the dealer.

I was trying to get Happiness for a nearly new diesel I am about to buy, but the dealer would only offer it for £950.
Current costs are:

Oops.....
continuing:
Year 1 £154,
Year 2 £314,
Year 3 £180,
Year 4 £314,
Year 5 £233.
Total £1195.
The reason apparently is the high cost of the special oil.
A chap at work has a diesel VW Touran, he reckons it is serviced every 2 years, and so the servicing overall is cheaper than a petrol engine.

So Honda have now in their wisdom decided to include Diesels in the Honda Happiness scheme! Great... a little too late to be honest for most of us current Diesel Owners who purchased our cars pre May... Why they didn't have this scheme for all fuel types is beyond me.

They were never going to do it origionally, I guess research/impact on the dealer network as worked out to be viable after all.

Sorry they are not for pre-May, I would have liked this too.

If you are local we will beat any Main Dealer Price if poss, if that's a help.

I asked my local dealer about this when I picked my new Type R up yesterday, only to be told Honda would not do this on Type Rs. Is this true?

I have Honda fixed price servicing for my Civic - £500 (Honda Happines). I had my first service today and was charged £118.89 for it. Does anyone know what I am getting for my £500?
