Seriously though Biker, I used to own a Jazz and know that Honda have introduced a number of new colours (including some horrid shades of yellow/brown) while discontinuing others (I had an electric courgette coloured vehicle, which all early cars seemed to come in)

Obviously the Type R should only come in a few colours anyway, white being one of them

But won't some potential buyers hold back, simply for thinking that, perhaps a year from now Honda will relent and make the R available in Championship White?

The Alabaster looks nice, but there are too many 5-doors in that colour already (I know I have one). Same with the Milano Red. So, essentially you'd not stand out that much in a Type R of the same colour.

But there'd certainly be no mistaking an all white Civic as a Type R!

Personally, I think all UK Honda dealers should sign a petition to Honda UK demanding that the colour be brought in!!

So we "know" the colour list for the Type-S and the Type-R. May I put it to you, that white is being reserved for the (as yet announced) Type-RR?

You don't want the type RR, it comes with one wing in a different shade, the dashboard rattles intermittently and you get a horrid squeal when you put the drivers window down.

And did you mean as yet announced or as yet unannounced?
