I think that a feature of the car is the fact it doesnt have a gaitor. To me it looks like you are making the car more normal.....which a civic is not meant to be.
I feel the same about removing the standard grill for a type R as well. So i guess i like the car more pure. But hey thats just my opinion. |

I used to love the gaiter on my old Jazz. It reminded me of cars from the 1970s!
Plus, I think it would look neat with the Type R knob. And would possibly fit too! In fact, I might just go buy one and fit it myself. Anyway, here's what I'm talking about... jazz_gaiter.jpg |

I guess the overall effect would be something like this!
