Can it be done as an after sales option? I think the red might look pretty nice.

LOL.

you are more then welcome to come view this car, lol. The whole process took our bodyshop a week, painting was no problem, it was timely removing all the trims, to prep and paint.

Have to say though it looks finished in the flesh, I wanted to do a red one with the kit and boot spoiler, but couldnt get a red Civic at the Time.

Still we have painted a couple now off the back of this car.

Colour Coding

Please note, this is a non-Honda service, it can be carried out at any time in the vehicles history.

Can you provide a *rough* estimate of how much this costs civinfo members please?
If you don't want to show that on here then please PM me.
Thanks.

I bet BG will be pleased to see this.

Seriously though it looks great. The kind of mod that doesn't make the car look too 'pimped out' if you know what I mean.

Price

Hi again

Well we estimated the cost to be £950.00 for the lot, now this was based on one only, but the price is coming down with the amount of practice the bodyshop is getting, lol.
As i said earlier, its not the painting it's the labour, I am working on a cheaper source at present, but I have to say, the quality of our one is outstanding and worth the pennies.

Regards

It does look brill, wonder why Honda themselves don't offer it, perhaps it will be the 2007/2008 model

One civic near me is all colour trimmed like that, its like silvery/blue colour looks really nice! I want my trim black!

Alternatively can you just buy the trim's again in the colour you want? I just think £950 is alot of dollar for labour + paint

I would be happy to donate my Red one. Providing the lease company didn't have an issue, or the company insurance, but I plan to by the car at the end of the lease.

Did someone say you can buy the colour coded parts seperately?

Not sure whether it would improve our Cosmic Greys enough to warrant the cost as our colour is the closest to the plastic is it not?

Hi,

I must admit the car looks much better, but the extra paint job is at least twice the price I would expect to pay. Unless I have missed something, the parts colour coded are 4 wheel arch surrounds (maybe mud flaps), side skirts and front and rear trim. Bit pricey even for a dealer but looks better.

All a matter of taste

I think the Cosmic Grey is set off really well with the slightly contrasting Grey plastic - even better with a set of Grey 18" Storm wheels (even when covered in brake dust)

But I'm sure it would make a Red civic look very nice.

Like it with the honeycomb 'grill' left black, still not 100% sure on it being body coloured.

That said, it does look good
