Talking Orange

Tell me do you think that Tangerine is a year too late?????

Would you purchase one?????

Do you think Honda has missed the boat, and the colour should have been offered with the launch?

I would have bought a Tangerine coloured Civic, but then again I think every man and his dog would have wanted one at the time. Not to sure now.

Perhaps if it was a deep dark tangerine i would consider it. The F*rd F*cus orange was/is too bright for me.
Sorry for swearing.

when recently ordering our Civic we were shown the Tangerine colour and even though we liked it thought that it may have impacted on resale value and so decided against it. Plus, I am not sure I would have really liked it all that much when I got it.

So sorry not my colour!

I was disappointed when I heard that tangerine would not be available. I could have bought that colour. But as far as I read somewhere, the one on the show car was a special tone, which gave different reflection effects from different angles. It changed tones from yellowish to reddish orange depending on the lighting and viewing angles. The newcomer orange may not be the same I suppose...
And, it would be better if it was launched before the F*rd.

It is good that Honda a introducing a brighter colour for the Civic, most of the colours are dark shades.
But I think this is a colour you have to see in the flesh first

It's interesting to note the upper class sound of 'Tangerine' rather than plain 'Orange'.

Some years ago Volvo did a similar trick with colour naming to increase the snob appeal.

They called it 'Safari Yellow' but if they had named it after what it looked like it would have been 'Dogs**t Brown'

Well, let's wait untill pictures get out. Why couldn't they omit any of the other colours, why the gorgeous blue??? All my vehicles from moped to cars have been sky-blue.

Funny if it was a Ford Focus or a Fiat Punto people wouldnt think it so strange, must be a pedigree thing.

I still think it's a colour two years too late personally.

Good job we are all not the same.

Look at me I like short girls, tall girls, girls that carry a little itty bitty weight girls!!!!!

Hi all,

my first post, and here's the (so far) first picture of a tangerine orange Civic .

Picture was taken @ 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA).

Enjoy.

Nice one, a much more 'mature' orange than I had expected. I like it.
