Well for the first time in the two months since I fitted my Nightbeakers, I'm very unhappy. The side light has gone already. That's less than 1000hrs of night driving. If this is an indication of the quality then I'm not at all impressed. What do I do? Do I complain to Osram or just expect that their stock response will be one of the following 'well it is only an estimated lifetime usage', ' it obviously wasn't fitted right' or 'there must be a problem with your car... yadda-yadda' and right them off as a poor buy / duff set? Gotta say I'm miffed cos it the passenger side behind the battery box. |

If you really used it for 1000hr, it is long time actually for halogen bulb.
To put things into perspective, this means bulb would go out in a year, if you have them on for 3 hours each day. And this *is* a long time. |

I thought that most bulbs had a 3000+ hour life span.
In all honesty I couldn't say exactly how many hours use they got (2-3 hours a day maybe 4 at the weekends) but as I've only had them fitted since November I would expect them to last at least a year if not more. Hell, I only had to replace my cars bulbs once in three years. Anyway, I'm still narked that they have gone phutt already. Does anyone think it is worth pursuing Osram with a claim for a faulty bulb or chalk it up to bad luck? |

2 things 1 question and 1 general knowledge for everyone
1) has anyone else managed to find a way to raise the high beams only as i find the projected distance of mine is extremley poor? 2) i spoke to the honda part dept about properly upgrading my headlights to HID and i was told they do not do upgrads for non standrad HID light hondas (hope that makes sense) |

I think he means that when on High beam, they arnt high enough.
I have raised my lights by about 1 full turn of the white adjuster screw, they are much better all round and still dont dazzle anyone. On High beam, they are much improved too |

yes that is what i meant lol, so it is the white adjuster that moves both of them high as well as dipped beam, because i have another adjuster with a rubber cap on it near the close of the bonnet lid

I wanted to get either Philips NightGuide or Osram Nightbraker when the first headlight bulb burned out after 44.000 km.
NightGuides was pretty expensive but when I found the Nightbreakers at 10£ a pair it was a no brainer. And I'm satysfied with the light otuput from the Osrams aswell |

A danish store chain called "Harald Nyborg"
A/S HARALD NYBORG **Netbutik * * I ordered 2 because I thought that the price was for one bulb. I was a little surprised to see that I received 2 twinpacks. Another store in Denmark wanted £40 or a pair of Philips NightGuides. |
