Brake brake lamps

what is the difference type-r and the 5 door brake lamps, becausei can't see any?

Borrowed a couple of pics from the gallery of members cars to show the CTR and non-CTR.

The brake light looks the same.

Should it not be?

People change the outer part, with the indicators.

These are clear on the CTR and orange on the standard.

If you look carefully at the two pics the CTR's mid light section only includes the reverse lights and no fog lights these are included in the main rear light cluster. On a non CTR civic the fogs are included in the mid section just above the number plate.

OK, so if you change the middle bit to get a "Type R look" you also need to change the main light cluster in order to retain the rear fog lights.
