Fog How many rear fog lights??

I have a query about how many rear fog lights are fitted to the UK Civic?

I noticed the other day that mine has a single light (in the middle light array to the right hand side).
My question is- should there be one other side too (i.e. mine doesnt work!!)
I tried looking through the light to see if there was a bulb but I'm not sure...

Please help?!

No, just one is standard for the rear

There should only be one.

Most countries only allow one (so as not to confuse with brake lights I think??).

Install extra rear positioning lights

As far as i'm aware, it is only a legal requirement to have one rear fog light. Most manufacturers therefore only fit one although you will see two on larger vehicles.

This confused me too a couple of days ago when I checked all lights for the first time: I found the answer in the manual. Page 385, diagram and the page note:

*1: Rear fog light is installed on the drivers side only.

In type approval, SVA, and MOT tests, all UK vehicles only need 1 rear fog light (2 at a maximum). Thats why most trucks only have 1 rear fog light as well
