Want something instead of cigerette lighter!
I dont smoke and no-one would ever be allowed to smoke in my car so i would like suggestions of any gadgets, lights, etc that would sit in the lighter socket.
My focus had a non-smokers pack which had a blanking plug that said 'power outlet' on it. Even sumthing like that would be good if i knew where to get one from. I have seen a post where someone has an led lenser torch so that is one option im looking at. All ideas very welcome. Thanks, Az |

The only snag with using the ciggy lighter as a power socket is that it is so badly fitted that the whole fitting pops out quite easily.
Not all the way because it has a small plastic fin but not a good fit. |

Doesn't the power outlet in the boot say something like 'Power outlet' on the blanking plug?
Couldn't you swap the cigarette lighter in the dash with the blanking plate? |

Thanks guys, i did notice today the power socket in the boot had a cover on it but it is attached somehow.
The Led Lenser torch is a cool idea, especially as it glows blue while charging. Cheers for the link Bob, wish i'd kept the one from the focus but £4 aint bad with the postage. Az. |

I've got a plug in air ioniser in mine which is funky as it glows blue as well!! I think it came off E-Bay - can't remember as it was a couple of years ago but I'm sure it was off there. About the same size as a small torch but a lot funkier!!!
