It's not the whole thing that pops off but just the centre clear plastic bit.
Once you get an edge it's quite easy. Note that the LED bulbs only work one way round so test before you pop the cover back on. |

Do i have to use force to remove the front lens because it keeps making a nasty clicking noise and i keep thinking im going to break it haha.
and what type of bulb is it? And is it easy to take the dash apart to change the bulbs? Thanks. Last edited by Vtec_Sport; 9th January 2008 at 09:15. |

This is my first post (after lurking for quite a while). Would like to say a big thanks to everyone who has already made these interior light mods for adding such a wealth of useful info about which bulbs to go for and colours etc..
I have just ordered, 1 x 269 Festoon LED and a pair of 501 Quad LEDS for the map lights in both WHITE & BLUE from Autobulbs (with the civinfo discount, yay! I'll let you know how I get on. Cheers all. Steve |

I have blues all round, and although it looks good, it is a bit of a pain for my wife trying to get house keys out of the covered storage bin in front of the gear lever 'cos not much light gets in there....
I tell her to use the sun visor light! Terry |

joined last week picked up my car yesterday and already fitted lights. Thouhgt red would be cool since I have a red 2.2 type S GT with image pack and 18 inch storms. But red is very dark and you would hardly know they are on so I am off to order blue or yellow ones. The best radio for tuning in my ipodSet the frequency and adjust the I-Trip to same perfect.
Any tips on how to stick my TOM TOM 520 to the dash just left of the screen. peem |
