Head Headlight Removal

Gents,

Been a while since I posted,

I need to remove the Headlights from my car, as I have been driving it in Europe for the last year. Before I come back to glorious blighty, I have to put the Standard fitted UK lights back in. Any ideas on how I go about this?

Any pictures would be a help too!!

Hello Wolverine.

I did ask my dealer long time ago (when I pick up my car

) how we can change the headlight, because it is mandatory here in france to have spare lights in your car...

He told me " Ask the policemen to do it, because it is impossible without our special tools...".

So I think you need to pay a visit to a local dealer.

PS I've HID lights on mine.

Hi to everyone and a big thank you to the Civinfo site organisers and its members. Congratulations, it's a great place!
This is my first post.
I collect my new Civic ES 2.2 Royal Blue mid february in the UK.
The Civic will be used in France and I have read elsewhere that many manufacturers of todays vehicles design them with 'symmetrical beam' headlights, meaning that they can be used all over Europe without having to use beam deflectors.
My question is : Has anyone heard of this info. and if it is correct, is the Civic one of these cars?

Hello Trista,

Congratulation You have maybe one of the most exclusive colour !
I know that there are other threads about that, but I dont think that the Honda (or any other car) are designed with such beams.
