Bulbs changing headlight bulb - bluetac

hi , my experience of replacing bulbs , interior 5 mins . job done.(nice blue bulbs)
front passenger dip , 10 mins , removed battery clamp like it says in
manual.
front driver , dropped old bulb and it fell below housing where all the brake pipes disappear , could only see from 1 angle and was going to leave it
and take to my friends garage (hoping he would have a tool to grab it) but looked again and its very close to the exposed timing/alternator? belts . if it got loose in there untold damage etc.

my longest screwdriver would not reach , then i remember i had garden sticks
in garage (for tying plants up to) . managed to bend one enough to reach bulb and flick it out to where i could see it better then attached bluetac to
end and recovered bulb (45 mins.)

so keep bluetac handy in your garage .
i fitted philips 80% brighter , look exact same as old ones apart from end is silver instead of dark grey , don't know yet if they are brighter as wife had car and left me her clio
