AJ, I was quoted around 1 hour labour to replace my fog lamp. All in was just around £300, or will it be a warranty job?

£300 to replace ONE lamp?

I was quoted £350 to have both lamps and the loom/relay/stalk fitted!

Hi Rick, they saw you coming,
One lamp fitted £174.00
The total cost for TWO lamps fitted is £325 inclusive, 1/2 hour labour included in the price the lamps are£145.00 each.
We are hoping Honda will contribute or pay in full, still awaiting there desision.

By replacement do you mean it already has fog lights, if so it`s a 10 second job to replace by inserting a extended socket through the hole in the bottom of the bumper, otherwise yes the bumper needs to be removed.

Ask someone to show you the stone damage. And hold your ground. Once they realise that you want a real answer, they will contact Honda.

It's also worth checking if you can get it replaced on the glass damage part of your insurance policy. No loss on NCB if this is the case.

BTW, not as yet a dealer I can recommend. They are improving, but not yet improved!

AJ follow this thread Front Fog Lights. You need a 10mm socket and a long extension. Remember to use some bluetack or simillar in the socket.

It seems like these fog lights break real easy. Mine is smashed and there is no other damage around so I struggle to believe it was a stone. At £145 a time, this is gonna be an issue. Anyone know of protectors for these?

Mines been done, although it was paid for through our Accident Management people, thing is I am paying for the rest of the work they did now, by having a car with a bad paint job on the wing. Take 3 is next Wednesday for the re-spray.
