Unhappy High beam confusion

Ok guys, the bug of sidelights now is fixed (LED or conventional
bulbs give us an hand), but what do you think to do with high beam?
My CTR GT comes from the factory with HID (low beam) i just fit
Philips Blue Vision on the higs to match the HID color without any noticeable advantage....
So,i "make a jump" into Autobulbs Direct store to choose another
brand/type of H1 bulbs and...... now i'm confused !
Does anybody out there have found/tested some H1 bulbs that
works effectively?
Any suggestion please

There are bulbs that will attempt to match a Xenon bulb but none that will match it exactly.

Same query

I have also opted for Phillips Blue Vision for H1 bulbs based upon what I'd read and have the side lights as the same as they were included in the Phillips plastic pack........

I had ordered 501 LED superbright from autobulbsdirect but they weren't in the jiffy bag when it arrived with the Phillips so have chased this up.......I have to say so far autobulbs have been good to deal. OK the first order they sent me went AWOL in the post but they sent out a replacement package for next day delivery once I queried it.....albeit the LED's were forgotten about? No doubt they will be sent on once my e-mail is picked up on monday......

Anyways......I only popped the Blue Visions in yesterday morning and was out last night having a few alcoholic sherberts (car was left at home) so didn't really get a good chance to review the colour match or mismatch but from a quick glance in the dark I am reasonably happy.......it can't be any worse than the standard yellow OEM bulbs........ but once i see it clearer in terms of driving I'll obviously know more.

If they improve the driving aspect at night then a minor colour mismatch won't bother me at all.

The Phillips are whiter than standard but wont get near colour of xenon. Have the 501 leds and the phillips bulbs on low and high beam. Was looking at my dads car the other day and I realised the difference, the light quality is much much better, not a hint of yellow.
Sourced all of mine from autobulbs and very pleased with service, but then they are based just down the road from me anyway!

I have Osram Nightbreakers on main beam.

Better light, not quite as white as HID though.

My initial order with autobulbs included the H1 Nightbreakers and 501 super bright the UK postal service seem to have decided to play hide and seek with that particular parcel and it's still in someone's van\bag\top drawer!

When I'd called autobulbs to query the missing parcel the helpful guy I spoke with said he'd no stock left of the Nightbreakers ......so suggested I consider ICE BLUE bulbs (ADR was the brand I think) as are maybe closer in colour to the Civic HID lights, next option was Phillips Blue Vision which were whiter and a decent choice and then when discussing the Nightbreakers his opinion was that it is a brighter bulb (more yellowish) but as they were out of stock with no date as to when they would be back in stock I opted for Blue Vision.

Would agree finding a colour match for HID is almost impossible but a less yellow tinge will make it slightly easier on the eye....and I'd expect a better driving experience from the 'brighter' bulbs.
