This thread is about: Auto Lights Off, it's in Lights at the Honda Civic forum Civinfo; I suppose a cheap and neat(ish) answer maybe to paint some window tint over the plastic dome ? And keep doing it until the lights ...

I suppose a cheap and neat(ish) answer maybe to paint some window tint over the plastic dome ?

And keep doing it until the lights come on and go off as required.

Still cheaper to turn then on manually but I love having a fiddle

We were also rather disappointed with our auto lights - they worked much better on our old Peugeots, so we levered the cover off by the sensors and used some black electrical tape to all but obscure them. So far, so good. Hoping this quick fix is going to be the answer

I did the same to keep lights on all the time - I needed 2 layers however to avoid lights switching themselves off on sunny days, and there are 2 places to be covered, one is obviously directed towards the windscreen and the other frontward (there is a gap in the black box for it)

Other way round today !

Whereas last time they went off too early, this morning I was driving along thinking "shouldn't they be turning off now"?
