Ooopsie. How do I get the bulb out?
Not the obvious answer.
When I replaced my blown Nightbreaker I managed to drop one of my two spare bulbs into the headlight casing. I fitted the other spare an swore never to tell another soul of my stupidity. However the other side has blown now (not at all happy with the quality of these bulbs now as they have only lasted a couple of months), and I'm too grippy to go and buy another set when there is one just out of reach somewhere. I can't for the life of me see how to retrieve it, so does anyone know how to get into the headlight case or do I have to remove half the front of the car? It's in the passenger side light BTW. |

One of these any use for retrieving things from inaccessible places?
PICK UP TOOLS, 2, FLEXIBLE GRABBER & MAGNET, LONG REACH on eBay, also, Hand Tools, Garage Equipment Tools, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Apr-08 07:04:20 BST) I have used mine a few times for screws etc that have fallen in awkward places. Press the end of the grabber and tiny claws come out to grab the item and being flexible enables it to go round tight places. Last edited by allan40alt; 9th April 2008 at 11:34. |

Brilliant, I may be able to get the old bulb that is now rattling around on top of the undertray now without removing the servicehatch!!
