Hi FWH, since you're from Sweden, where did you buy your replacement lightbulbs? I see that you've upgraded to the LED parking light, did you buy it from Autobulbs direct? I took a quick look on the homepages of Micro, Biltema and such but couldnt find anything.

I bought from Autobulbs.
They shipped to Sweden no problems and very quick.

This is a higher intensity bulb I presume? Or maybe xenon? Would someone kindly explain the difference between 'ordinary' headlamps and HID?

Thanks for your help.

PS. I'm getting quotes for an EX I-CDTI which has HID as standard.

HID is what is also known as Xenon.

There are factory mounted HIDs (like on your car-to-be) and aftermarket HID kits which are technically illegal in many countries.
The aftermarket kits are more than just changing the bulbs.
