I have the blue original dealer fit lights.
They were quite expensive, but add to the blue feel.

Not easy to take good pics though.

There are DIY options tried by some.

There is some info in the Wiki:

I got mine from Holdcroft Honda, then the dealer fitted them because they delayed my car 3 times. So when i asked for my deposit back they were desperate not to give me my money back. They fitted lights , my 8 disc, & i got the badge kit for nothin & fitted.

They sell them on ebay, 2007 Civic Type'R Red Ambient Footwell Lighting on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 30-May-08 20:29:00 BST) at around £100 including delivery.

If you PM Gareth through civinfo, you may get it a bit cheaper though.

Hello,

my CIVIC is equipped with the blue lightening and it's not so intense as your red but it's very nice and very pleasant on night drive.

I suspect Muppets lighting kit may be an after market kit, as I have the red Honda ambient lighting kit and it isn't as intense either.

Yes, I had them fitted afterwards. The lights are bright when running off the interior light circuit as shown and then when the doors are closed and the ignition is on they dim to a soft glow. They also put lights into the door pockets and glovebox to continue the theme and the door pockets give a nice wraparound effect.

LED lighting and kits

Plenty of red, for a tenner you can sort your own foot well lights out.
Plenty of Civinfo members have and taken advantage of the neoquip hal price P&P too
