Exclamation Help!! Dropped the clip

Hi guys!

I was replacing my h1 light and the retainer clip fell off that holds the bulb in place! Also, just above that there is a brown wire connector that well off and I cant get it back on!

Will this be a trip to the dealers or a DIY job consisting of bumper removal, headlight removal etc? It is on the passenger side so the battery is in the way!!

Any recommendations welcome!!

Thanks

Can you see the clip? Try using a vacumn cleaner with a pair of tights over the end to pick up the clip and the brown wire will go back on as it came off just take it easy and have some patience and do not force it on.

Ive got the clip back now! But how do I put it back on without risk losing it by dropping it down? The brown clip just won't go on!

Then take a look at the other headlight and see how it fits on that side.

Hi guys! Success! Removed the battery for extra space and re installed the retainer clip (it fell off!) H1 bulb slotted straight in and the other clip seemed to go on immediately without the battery in the way But thanks for the tips guys!

Yeah for me it was quite unlucky to be on the side with the least space! But taking the battery created so much space to pop everything back in place!
