Is that the switch which comes with the lights or have you got your own?
What have you mounted it on (in the pic) and where do you plan to put it in the Civic? (the switches/dimmer that is) |

If I was putting it there, then I would personally prefer a more descrete dimmer; but VERY nice job anyway. |

Also do you know if the "spare" blanking plate you purchased is needed, or can we just use the one in there? Thanks muchly for this, I think I'm going for it! Just to confirm 2 things (sorry) have you got this? Cig lighter power ---> Dimmer ----> BOTH SETS soldered on to dimmer output and do you know if the wires are long enough to reach? |

wires are long enough as i've already installed the lights and cables and as far as the honda connections go........ i've played with them for ages and ended up popping a couple of fuses so to save any damage to the cars electrics i went for the manual dimmer option i picked up the blank plate unit as a spare one to piss about with so i'll just replace the existing one with this one now Cig lighter power ---> Dimmer ----> BOTH SETS soldered on to dimmer output Correct |

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...=knob&doy=10m1
Is that the knob you're going for? looks like it'd fit best to me, but I'm really not sure if it fits! |

I'm not sure what the connections are on the potentiometer! I should really get a multimeter I guess. But how exactly have you wired the connections?
