Got mine on as well but it was getting a bit dark to take the photos! Thanks Gray52 - these have bee a right little earner for you by the sounds of it and with many happy customers you're to be commended!
Well worth every penny and don't seem to infringe on the looks of the car! |

I think it was for the same reason that most manufacturers turned to colour coded bumpers - another nice little earner.
Can't beat the old black vinyl type, you could 'touch' things with no scratching. |

I think we need to find a better way to attach the fog light protectors. The ones I bought from Mark (gray52) have blown off on the motorway after a week or two. I don't think the tiny 1cm velcro pads are strong enough once the wind gets behind the plastic.

hi, are you sure they have blown off? or has some one nicked them? i had these for years and never lost any. ive had my current civic ones up to 120mph (private track) and they are still there.
the fittings are the same as what the motorbike head light covers are fitted on with, had all bikes way past 120mph and have never encountered a problem, and they are the same size. thats why i use these fixings. |

I've made myself a new set of covers now and would like to try them again but I don't know where you get the sticky pads from. |

Hi Gray52, my wife went out to the car this morning and found one of the covers lying on the drive, not had a problem up to now.Two of the pads are still sticky, can you tell me were to get more pads from ?
Does seem strange it just fell off on the drive, but then again why would someone walk down the drive remove the cover and just leave it !!!! ![]() |

I decided not to bother with front fogs on my new Civic.
YES they do look better than the plastic fittings, BUT... I don't need to worry about stone chips! In addition, the front fogs on my old MGZX made no difference whatsoever in foggy weather and I guess what? I had to replace one of them after a stone hit it! On balance I am happy to have practicality over aesthetics! |

I've done 110 and mine are still on. And my daily commute takes me up over a wide open hill, have driven in gusts of 70mph and more and they are still there.
Make sure you clean the foglamps thoroughly or the stickyness won't be as... sticky. |
