1k EU is a lot to pay for what you get. As you say the roads in Holland are well lit () so it probably isn't worth it at all!

Interesting, I never knew that, always thought they were powered.

Might be why mine wouldn't return to flush this morning.
I cleaned a de-frosted the washer nozzles once I got to work to get the windscreen a quick spray to get rid of the road grime. However the windscreen nozzles froze again almost straight away (despite a winter mix of washer fluid) and after that the light washers would not return to totally flush (Passenger side was sitting about 3/4mm out, drivers side 2mm).

I'm guessing that the frozen main washers let the pressure build slightly and this back pressure kept the light nozzles out? I will try again at lunch time and if the nozzles still sit proud instead of returning to flush I will give my dealer a call as there might be an "error"

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can still operate your windscreen wipers without using headlight washers if you switch your lights off or on to sidelights/position lights/parkinglights.

Not perhaps the most practical technique, but it might save you a krone or two.

alternatively, play the game where you pull the wiper stalk for a very short time. repeatedly.

The screen washers squirt almost instantly.

The headlight washers only squirt after a second or two

I know. And thank you for that.

My point was that even though we Finns and Danes can not turn the lights off, it's enough to switch to side lights only for a few seconds while you operate the washers.
